Accessibility

CRGD wants everyone to be able to read our work and take part in our events. We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done

• Text and background colours are chosen to meet contrast guidelines.
• The website can be used with a keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.
• A “skip to main content” link is the first item on every page.
• Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Pages use proper headings, lists and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate them.
• Moving content, such as the latest updates strip, can be paused, and stops automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
• The website works at large text sizes and on small screens.
• Publications are available as web pages as well as PDF files.

Events

Our venue arrangements aim to be accessible. When you register for an event, tell us about any requirements, such as step free access, sign language interpretation or materials in large print, and we will do our best to meet them.

Known limitations

Some older PDF documents and some embedded content from other services may not be fully accessible. If you need any content in a different format, please ask.
