Support CRGD: The Public Policy Bridge
Independent research depends on people who value it. Your support funds fellowships, field work and free public events, and it never buys a conclusion.
CRGD’s research is free to read, its events are mostly free to attend and its fellowships and internships pay a stipend. None of that is possible without support from people and institutions who believe that public policy should be made with better evidence and more open debate.
What your support makes possible
- A fellowship for a young researcher to spend six months studying a public problem and publishing the results.
- Field work that takes our researchers to the communities most affected by a policy, so that their voices shape our recommendations.
- Free public events where citizens, officials and experts can reason together.
- Open publications that anyone can read, share and republish without paying.
- Campus clubs that bring policy debate to colleges across Kerala.
Ways to give
Individual contributions. Contributions of any size are welcome, as a single gift or a regular monthly contribution. See the bank transfer and online options below.
Sponsor a fellowship or a program. Individuals, families and organisations can sponsor a named fellowship, a lecture series or a campus program. Sponsors are acknowledged, and have no role in the selection of fellows or the content of their work.
Institutional partnerships. Foundations, trusts and organisations can support research verticals or specific projects under our independence and funding policy.
Give your time. Professionals can volunteer as mentors, guest teachers in the CRGD Academy or reviewers of draft research.
Give your expertise. If you hold data, documents or experience that could help our research, we would like to hear from you.
Our promise to supporters
- We will never let a contribution influence our findings.
- We will acknowledge your support, or keep it private if you prefer, subject to our disclosure rules for large contributions.
- We will report every year on how we used the money, in our annual reports.
