Coastal Communities Listening Project
A structured listening exercise in fishing villages along the Thiruvananthapuram coast, recording how communities experience coastal change and port development.
Decisions about the coast are often taken without hearing the people who live on it. This project records, with consent, the experiences and priorities of fishing communities, and shares them with decision makers in their own words.
Outputs will include a public report in Malayalam and English and a series of community meetings with officials.
