Budget Decoded is CRGD’s annual public session explaining the state budget, held within a few weeks of its presentation.

The lecture walked through the budget using five questions: how much revenue is already committed, whether borrowing is funding investment or day to day spending, what happened to last year’s promises, where money is going within departments, and what obligations sit outside the budget.

A video version of the guide is available: The State Budget in Ten Minutes.
