Colloquium: Return Migration, Work in Progress
A research colloquium in which work in progress on return migration from the Gulf was presented to scholars and practitioners for critical feedback.

The colloquium discussed the early stages of CRGD’s research on return migration, which later informed the long form essay The Gulf Comes Home.
Participants raised questions about how to reach returnees who do not register with any agency, how to compare the experiences of men and women returnees, and how to separate the effects of the pandemic from longer term trends.
